Why CNC Machine Parts in Vietnam?

Vietnam's precision machining industry has quietly become world-class — without the tariffs, IP risks, or lead time headaches of China.

💰

40–60% Lower Cost Than US

Fully loaded shop rates of $15–25/hr vs $85–150/hr in the US. The savings aren't from cutting corners — they're from lower labor, real estate, and overhead costs.

🛡️

Zero China Tariffs

No Section 301 tariffs on Vietnamese goods. Vietnamese CNC parts face standard MFN duty rates — no 25%+ Section 301 surcharges like China.

🏭

World-Class Equipment

Our partner factories run Mazak, DMG Mori, Okuma, Haas, and Brother machines — the same brands used in top US and European shops.

📋

Full QC Documentation

CMM reports, material certs, PPAP packages, FAI reports, and Cpk studies. Every part is traceable from raw material to delivery.

CNC Machining FAQ

What CNC tolerances can you hold?
Our Vietnam factories routinely hold ±0.005mm on critical features. For ultra-precision work, we have partners achieving ±0.002mm using temperature-controlled environments and high-end equipment from Mazak, DMG Mori, and Okuma.
What materials do you machine?
50+ materials including Aluminum (6061, 7075, 2024), Stainless Steel (303, 304, 316L), Carbon Steel (1018, 4140, 4340), Titanium (Grade 2, Grade 5), Brass, Copper, Delrin/POM, PEEK, Nylon, UHMW, and more.
What's the minimum order quantity?
No MOQ. We handle single prototypes through 100,000+ production runs. For 1–10 pieces, typical lead time is 5–7 business days.
How much does CNC machining cost in Vietnam vs the US?
Vietnam CNC shops run $15–25/hr fully loaded vs $85–150/hr in the US. A typical aluminum bracket that costs $45 domestically runs $12–18 from our network — before you factor in avoiding China's 25% Section 301 tariffs.
What surface finishes are available?
Anodizing (Type II, Type III/hardcoat), nickel plating, zinc plating, chrome plating, powder coating, bead blasting, brushing, polishing, passivation, black oxide, and Cerakote.
How do you handle quality control?
Every order includes CMM dimensional inspection reports. We offer PPAP documentation, first article inspection (FAI), FMEA, Cpk studies, and AQL-based sampling for production batches. Full traceability from raw material certs to final inspection.
What's the typical lead time?
Prototypes: 5–7 business days. Production runs: 15–25 business days depending on complexity and volume. Expedited 3-day service available for simple parts.
Do you handle secondary operations?
Yes — heat treatment, grinding, honing, lapping, assembly, and all surface finishing. Most secondary ops are done in-house at our partner factories or at co-located specialist shops.
